Double-milled (PTO) pumps are used in turbomachines equipped with transmissions. In this system, motion is first transmitted from the tractor to the pump. After the pump exits, it is transferred via a shaft to the transmission, and from there to the machine. The transmission regulates the speed during this process, ensuring the machine operates at the appropriate speed.
